Biography
Willis’ scholastic career ended in record-breaking fashion. Early in June, Willis won the Division 1 gold medal in the 800-meter race and broke the national high school record in the process. Her final time was 2:00:03, which also set a new state record that she set when she won the race as a freshman in 2019.
Since 2019, she missed the 2020 season due to COVID-19 shutting down the season and she didn’t run in 2021 as she tried to qualify for the Olympics.
During the Olympic Trials in the 800, the teenager finished 13th. Willis, who will attend Stanford University on an academic and athletic scholarship, was Gatorade’s National Player of the Year in Track & Field during the 2020-21 sports season.
As a freshman, she won two NCAA indoor titles and four All-American honors at Stanford. She was also named USTFCCCA All-Academic.

Biography
Sahlman is considered the nation’s best long distance runner. In the fall, he won California Division 1 state championship in cross country along with the gold medal at the national championships. For those performances, he was named Gatorade’s National Player of the Year in cross county.
During the Spring, he had the fastest high school times in the 1,500-, 3,000- and 3,200-meter races. In February, he became just the 13th high school to run a mile in under four minutes.
On May 28, he ran the third fastest mile ever by a high schooler. The future Northern Arizona University runner did it at the prestigious Prefontaine Classic in Oregon. His time was 3:56.24, which placed him ahead of 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Clayton Murphy.

Biography
Woosley-Reed heads to the University of Tennessee on a golf scholarship after winning four straight Tennessee high school state championships. He won the Division I Class A title last fall with two rounds of 66. He holed a birdie on the final hole to win the gold medal by one stroke over North Greene’s Aiden Collier. Woosley-Reed was ranked No. 38 in the Junior Golf Scoreboard 2022 rankings.
“Evan’s signing is a continuation of one of our main priorities in recruiting the in-state kids that have proven they can compete and work at the elite level that is necessary to compete for SEC and national championships” said Tennessee Volunteer Head Golf Coach Brennan Webb.
“Evan’s record over the last four years, including three state high school titles and a state junior title has proven to our staff he is capable of helping us achieve our lofty goals, as well as fit very well in the culture of our program.”
Woosley-Reed played as a freshman for the Vols. At the Puerto Rico Classic, he finished three rounds with a total of 8-under tying for 8th place. He also tied for 12th at the All-American Individual.

Biography
Jansa closed-out her scholastic golf career with her second straight South Dakota AA individual championship. Jansa overcame a 5-shot deficit to win the two-day tournament that lifted the school to its first-ever team championship.
As a junior, set a state record with a score of 134, 8-under par. She won the tournament by 11-shots. Jansa began her varsity career in 7th grade. During her career, she was a state medalist four times.
She is the first golfer to honored SDGA Women’s Amateur and Girls Junior Championship in the same year.
Jansa is the first North Dakota athlete to win the NHSCA National Senior Girls’ Golf Athlete of the Year Award. She will continue to golf at the collegiate level at the University of Toledo.

Biography
Bergeron, a catcher, led Notre Dame to its fourth straight Louisiana state softball championship. ND won the Division III state title with a 6-4 win over St. Charles in the championship game.
Bergeron finished her senior season with a .515 batting average with 16 home runs and 55 runs batted in. She finishes her career with 78 homers and 225 RBI’s.
She was a three time Division III All-District and All-State honoree.
MaxPreps named her a first team All-American after her junior season. She has signed a college
scholarship to play at LSU. Bergeron is the first Louisiana athlete to win the NHSCA National Senior Softball Athlete of the Year Award.

Biography
Montgomery currently has Yorktown ranked No. 1 in the Washington Post’s girls’ soccer poll. Montgomery, the 2020-21 Gatorade Virginia Soccer Player of the Year, has had an outstanding senior season, which currently finds Yorktown in the Class 6, Region D semifinals.
Through the first 12 matches of the Spring 2022 season, Montgomery tallied 20 goals with 13 assists. As a junior, she scored 20 goals with 12 assists.
She was named All-State, All-Region, and All-Conference during her high school career. Montgomery is the first Virginia student-athlete to win the NHSCA National Senior Girls’ Soccer Athlete of the Year Award.
One of the top recruits in the country with over a 4.0 GPA, Montgomery will play college soccer at the University of South Carolina. She also volunteers as a peer mentor and a youth soccer coach.

Biography
Pechota closed-out his scholastic career by leading St. Ignatius to its third straight Ohio Division I high school soccer championship with a 2-1 overtime win over Centerville. Pechota assisted on the Wildcats’ first goal.
The future Ohio State Buckeye scored 14 goals as a senior and was named the United Soccer Coaches High School Player of the Year. He was named the 2020-21 Gatorade Ohio High School Player of the Year after scoring 14 goals with 12 assists. He was also Ohio Mr. Soccer twice.
Pechota is the second St. Ignatius student-athlete to win the NHSCA Senior Boys’ Soccer Athlete of the Year Award. Stephen Miloan won the award during the 2016-17 sports season.

Biography
Curzan is not only an outstanding high school swimmer, but she’s already made a mark on the international scene.
After finishing 10th in the 100m butterfly at the Tokyo Summer Olympics as a 17-year old, Curzan returned to the high school pool to win her seventh and eight individual gold medals in February at the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4A state championships. She won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, which gave her gold medals in each event every year of her scholastic career.
Curzan’s 100 butterfly time was an American Record, and her 100 backstroke set a 17-18 National Age Group record.
In addition to her individual performance in Tokyo, Curzan won a silver medal after swimming in the preliminary of the women's 4×100 medley relay.
Curzan will swim collegiately at Stanford University.

Biography
Perez closed-out her high school career by winning the prestigious New Jersey State Cross Country Meet of Champions with a time of 17:09. She also won the Group 2 state title.
She’s just as good when she competes indoors. In March 2022, she captured her second indoor State Meet of Championships 3,200 title. In winning the indoor championship, she broke the previous state record by more than 14 seconds.
The A-student will attend the University of Florida in the fall on an athletic scholarship.

Biography
Zuchowski graduates from The King’s Academy as the most decorated swimmer in the school’s history. He closed-out his scholastic career by winning gold medals in the 200 IM and 100 backstroke at the Florida 1A state swimming championships.
The future Stanford University swimmer won eight individual gold medals during his time at the West Palm Beach school.
“To be able to just have that locked in no matter what and just know that I get to go to the school of my dreams is just amazing” Zuchowski told The Palm Beach Post after signing his Letter of Intent to attend Stanford.
Zuchowski competed in the Olympic Trials for the 2021 Summer Games in Tokyo. He qualified for the 2021-22 U.S. National Junior Team.

Edwards closed-out his scholastic career by winning his third straight West Virginia AAA individual state championship. He got the three-peat by finishing nearly 29-seconds in front of the second place runner. Edwards’ performance also led the school to the team title.
Edwards, who maintains an A-average in the classroom, has won the last three Gatorade West Virginia Cross Country Player of the Year awards. He’s also an outstanding runner on the school’s Track & Field squad.
In addition to his three Gatorade Cross Country awards, Edwards, who will be attending the University of Oregon in the fall, was also named West Virginia’s Gatorade Track & Field Athlete of the Year for his junior season during the 2020-21 sports season.

Heck leaves high school with the national record for the most goals in a single season. Heck, who will play collegiately at the University of North Carolina, set the national record for goals in a season with 125 during her senior season. She netted 323 goals during her four-year career.
In a COVID-shortened 2020 season, Heck scored 76 goals in just 14 games, good for an average of nearly 5.5 goals per game. She was named South Jersey Player of the Year in 2020.
During her career, Heck helped lead the school to two Tournament of Champions titles.
Heck is the third player from the South Jersey powerhouse to win the NHSCA Senior Field Hockey Athlete of the Year award.
She was named to the 2022-23 U.S. National Team. She is also the youngest player to compete at the Tournament at the 2022 Senior Nexus Championships. She also won gold at the Junior Pan-Am Games.

Biography
Harrell led Thompson to back-to-back Alabama Class 7A high school football championships. Harrell, who enrolled early at the University of North Carolina, finished his career completing 385-of-537 passes (71.7%) for 6,478 yards with 84 touchdowns against with only six interceptions. He also ran for rushed for 701 yards (6.3 yards per carry) with 10 TDs.
The 3-star college football prospect also excels in the classroom. He was named to the High School Football Academic All-America Team after his junior and senior seasons.
After his junior season, Harrell was named the Gatorade Alabama High School Player of the Year.

Biography
Betts finishes her high school basketball career as a state champ. In March, after a 5-9 start to the season, Grandview won Colorado’s 5A state championship with 52-40 win over top-seeded Valor Christian.
She had 13 points in the title game, which also was the 13th win for the Wolves. She finished her career with over 1,500 points and over 1,000 rebounds. She averaged a double-double during her four-year career —16.1 points per game and 10.3 rebounds.
Betts was considered the top recruit in the Class of 2022 by HoopGurlz. She accepted a scholarship to Stanford. Betts is only the ‘fourth Colorado girl to win two Gatorade Player of the Year honors. Over the course of her scholastic career, she was named All-Conference and All-State all four years. As a senior, she was the CHSAA Player of the State.
Betts was also a two time gold medalist for Team USA playing on the FIBA U19 and U16 teams.

Clingan ended his high school career by leading his school to Connecticut’s Division II state championship with a perfect 28-0 record. In the championship game, Clingan scored 25 points and grabbed 24 rebounds. For the season, the 7-foot-2-inch center averaged 30.1 points, 18.4 rebounds and 6.2 blocks per game.
The two-time Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year shot posted six triple-doubles as a senior. In one game, he scored 51 points and grabbed 31 rebounds.
The future University of Connecticut Husky, finished his career with 2,268 points and 1,518 rebounds. The 4-star recruit is considered the 44 th best college basketball recruit in the Class of 2022 by 247Sports.

Middleton closes-out her scholastic career with back-to-back Arizona Class 6A state championships. The two-time winner of the Arizona Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year finished her senior season with compiled 516 kills, giving her 1,556 for her career, which is a school-record.
Middleton is one of two high school athletes on the USA Volleyball Under-20 Women’s National Team. “She’s probably one of the most coachable kids I’ve ever had” Hamilton High School Head Volleyball Coach Sharon Vanis told USA TODAY. “She’s a very respectful teammate, humble and has received a lot of awards. She knows it’s a team sport and it’s not all about her, but that’s why she is so deserving of the things she gets – because she’s humble and it all came by being a part of a great teams”.
Additionally, Middleton received All-America honors from Under Armour and the American Volleyball Coaches Association. She was also a member of the U20 National Team in 2021.
Middleton will continue her volleyball career at the University of Southern California.
