Perez holds multiple state records during her high school career.
Biography
Perez closed-out her high school career by winning the prestigious New Jersey State Cross Country Meet of Champions with a time of 17:09. She also won the Group 2 state title.
She’s just as good when she competes indoors. In March 2022, she captured her second indoor State Meet of Championships 3,200 title. In winning the indoor championship, she broke the previous state record by more than 14 seconds.
The A-student will attend the University of Florida in the fall on an athletic scholarship.
