A leader on and off the field, Conner Harrell leads by example.

Biography

Harrell led Thompson to back-to-back Alabama Class 7A high school football championships. Harrell, who enrolled early at the University of North Carolina, finished his career completing 385-of-537 passes (71.7%) for 6,478 yards with 84 touchdowns against with only six interceptions. He also ran for rushed for 701 yards (6.3 yards per carry) with 10 TDs.

The 3-star college football prospect also excels in the classroom. He was named to the High School Football Academic All-America Team after his junior and senior seasons.

After his junior season, Harrell was named the Gatorade Alabama High School Player of the Year.

“Conner Harrell is not only a great player but a wonderful young man,” said Thompson head football coach Mark Freeman. “It was such a blessing to watch his career grow and the success he had as a two-year starting quarterback. To lead his team to back to back 7A state titles is proof of the leadership and type player Conner was at Thompson.”
