    Myers was a four- time Kentucky State Champ and a three – time NHSCA Champion.

    Biography

    Austin Myers is a four-time Kentucky state champ and three-time National High School Coaches Association national wrestling champ.

    Myers was undefeated during his high school career and won the NHSCA Senior Nationals Outstanding Wrestler Award in March when he defeated three-time NHSCA champ Kenneth Brinson from Georgia in the 220-pound championship match.  Myers will continue his wrestling career at West Virginia.

    Myers spent one year at West Virginia before transferring to the University of Missouri where he finished out his career as a Tiger.

    Biography

    Alexa Smith, who carries a 4.0 weighted GPA, led her school to a MaxPreps “mythical” national championship in 2014.

    Smith led the Rangers to a 29-0 record and a second consecutive Class 4A state championship this past season. Smith slammed 362 kills while recording a .519 kill percentage and .393 hitting percentage. The Colorado High School Athletic Association named her 4A Player of the Year. She is a member of the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team.

    After graduating, Smith continued her academic and athletic pursuits to the University of Colorado. Smith made a large impact on the team. As a junior, Smith was seventh in the Pac-12 and 50th in the NCAA averaging 3.97 kills per set.

    Impact Statement

    Graham claimed multiple CIF State Titles in different events over her high school career.

    Biography

    Jasmyne Graham captured two gold medals this year in the CIF championships. Graham edged defending champion Mecca McGlaston of Dublin HS in the 100 hurdles final. Her time of the 13.17 seconds was the best in the nation this year. She then went-on to claim gold the 300 hurdles. As a junior, Graham claimed the CIF state indoor long jump title.

    Graham was named the 2015 California Girls Gatorade Track & Field Athlete of the Year. She will attend USC.

    After her first year as a Trojan, Graham transferred to UNLV. She was a NCAA Qualifier for the Rebels in the 2018 Outdoor Championships and in the 2019 Indoor Championships in hurdles.

    She earned USTFCCCA Second Team All-America honors in the 100m hurdles at the 2019 Outdoor Championships. She finished her career as the top ranking 100m Hurdles All-Time outdoor performances at UNLV.

    Chad Zallow

    Impact Statement

    Biography

    Chad Zallow is a two-time Ohio state champ in the 110-meter hurdles. He also won state gold twice in the 60-meter indoor hurdles, including this year when he won with the third fastest time in United States history.

    During the 2015 outdoor season, Zallow had the best time in the nation in the 110 hurdles with a time of 13.50 seconds.

    Zallow continued to excel at Youngstown State University. Zallow was honored with multiple All American accolades, including First Team honors for his performance as a sophomore and junior at the Indoor NCAA Championships. He also earned Second Team honors three times. He was named the 2017-18 Youngstown Athlete of the Year.

    Zallow is now pursuing his career outside YSU with his sights set on the next Olympic Games.

    Biography

    Kate Fahey was the #1 college recruit according to TennisRecruiting.com during her senior season.

    After finishing runner-up as a sophomore and taking-off to compete nationally as a junior, Fahey captured New Jersey’s singles’ championship during her senior season.

    Fahey will attend Michigan to play college tennis.

    As a Wolverine, Fahey was a three-time ITA All-American. She was a two-time Big Ten Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior. She was named All-Big Ten all four years. Fahey graduated as Michigan’s leader in career singles wins with 132.

    Fahey exceled off the court as well. She was the recipient of the ITA Scholar Athlete Award twice.

    Upon graduating, Fahey returned to New Jersey where she is the volunteer assistant coach at Rutgers University.

    Joyce impacted Hinsdale Central and went on to make an impact at Ohio State University.

    Biography

    The 2015 high school tennis season saw Martin Joyce capture his second individual Illinois state tennis championship.

    Joyce, who will attend Ohio State, also has a state runner-up and fourth place finish on his scholastic resume.  He also helped his school win its fourth straight team title.

    Joyce went on to have a stellar career as a Buckeye. Joyce was the ITA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year. As a junior, he earned Double All American honors. He was also named to the NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team in 2018. He led OSU to a top four finish in the ITA ranking all four years.

    Martin also excelled off the court. He was a three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete and was an ITA Scholar Athlete twice.

    After graduation he was named the volunteer assistant coach at the University of Texas.

    Biography

    Like 2013 honoree Missy Franklin of Regis Jesuit High School in Colorado, Katie Ledecky ended her high school career with an Olympic Gold Medal.

    As a 15-year old, Ledecky surprised the world by capturing the 800-meter freestyle gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She is the current world record holder in the 400-, 800-, and 1,500-meter freestyle (long course). She also owns the fastest-ever swims in the 500- and 1,650-yard freestyles.

    Her high school career came to a close in February at the D.C Metros where she lowered her own national high school record in the 200 freestyle and obliterated her own American record in the 500-yard freestyle. Ledecky did attend Stanford beginning after the 2016 Olympic Games, where she would go on to win four more golds.

    Keeping with the trend, Ledecky continued to set records and obtain accolades in her two seasons at Stanford. She was an eight time NCAA National Champion and a 12 time Pac-12 Champ. She concluded her collegiate career by holding six records and an additional three Stanford records.

    Ledecky is still training and has her eyes set for the 2021 Olympic Games.

    In January of 2020, Ledecky announced the launch of “Katie Ledecky’s Dive Into STEM Education powered by Panasonic.”

    She stated, “I am committed to using my platform to inspire and make a difference, and one way I believe I can make an impact is through access and exposure to STEM education,” Ledecky said. “I am thankful to my partner Panasonic, who supports this initiative and shares my vision of empowering the next generation of students to have opportunities in these important disciplines.”

    Andrew Seliskar

    Seliskar ended his high school swimming career by breaking two Virginia state records in his final state championship swim.

    Biography

    Andrew Seliskar ended his high school swimming career by breaking two Virginia state records in his final state championship swims. As a senior, Seliskar won a state championship in the 100 Fly and the 200 IM at the state meet.  He additionally took 1st as part of the school’s 200 medley relay team.

    Seliskar, who has won multiple Junior National titles, was considered the top recruit in the country during his senior season. Additionally, he has another five state titles under his belt. He also won three Gold Medals at the 2014 Pan Am Games.

    Seliskar also thrived in the classroom. He was a three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. He will continue to swim collegiately at the University of California-Berkeley.

    While at Berkeley, Seliskar was one of the most versatile swimmers. He claimed four NCAA National titles and was a runner up three times. Additionally, he placed third five times.

    Since graduating, Seliskar is still swimming. In 2018, he won a gold and silver at the Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo. At the World Championships in 2019, Seliskar brought home the bronze.

    McQuillin made an impact at Mission Viejo and the University of Arizona from the pitcher’s mound.

    Biography

    Taylor McQuillan, the 2014 Gatorade National Softball player of the Year, led her school to a #1 ranking in the nation by MaxPreps for most of the year. She was named All-State three times over her career.

    During the 2015 season, McQuillan set a new California record for wins with 103.  She finished the year with a 30-1 record and a 0.31 ERA.

    McQuillan played for the University of Arizona.  As a Wildcat, she continued to lead her team to victory. She was part of the Pac-12 All-Freshman team. As a junior, she became the first Wildcat to lead the nation with 15 shutouts. Her senior year she was named First-team NFCA All-American. She was named All-Conference all four years, the first to hold that honor since 2006.

    In October of 2020, McQuillan returned to the dugout for the Wildcats as the graduate manager while completing her Master’s degree.

    McQuillan will represent Team Mexico at the 2021 Olympic Games.

    Kerner played a large part in her high school team’s 88-game winning streak.

    Biography

    Hana Kerner was an integral part of Northern Highlands, which won four New Jersey state titles while amassing a 92-1-1 record.  This included a 65 game win streak and a 88-game unbeaten streak.

    Kerner scored 21 goals as a senior, giving her 59 for her career.  Kerner is a member of the U.S. Under-20 National Team.

    In addition to excelling on the field, Kerner also exceled in the classroom. She will attend the University of Virginia.

    As a Cavalier, Kerner continued to play consistently throughout her college career all four years.

    After college Kerner played for the Orlando Pride. Currently, she is a member of Stade de Reims, a team out of Reims, France.

    Connor Smith had an outstanding senior season with 23 goals and 21 assists.

    Biography

    Connor Smith had an outstanding senior season with 23 goals and 21 assists to lead McDonogh to the semifinals of the Class A Independent Athletic Association of Maryland Tournament.

    Smith, who as the Player of the Year for the Baltimore Sun and the Maryland Association of Coaches of Soccer, finished his career with 46 goals and 31 assists.  Smith was Gatorade’s Maryland State Soccer Player of the Year and the National Soccer Coaches of America’s Player of the Year.

    Smith continued to play for the University of Maryland throughout his college career.

    Madison Odiorne closed-out her scholastic career by becoming the first four-time state champion in Oregon.

    Biography

    Madison Odiorne closed-out her scholastic career by becoming the first four-time state champion in Oregon.

    Odiorne won the Class 5A title with a record-shattering 140 over 36 holes, which was one shot off the all-classifications low score at the Oregon state championships.  The mark broke her previous state record in the 5A championship by ten strokes.

    In March, Odiorne won the girls’ 13-19 division at the Future Collegians World Tour event at the Silverado Resort and Spa in California. In 2014, she qualified for the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship. Odiorne will attend Washington State University.

    Odiorne was named WGCA All-American Scholar as a junior. She played in multiple tournaments throughout her career.

    Sam Burns

    In 2018, Burns won his first PGA title in dramatic fashion by birdieing the last three holes to win by one stroke at the Savannah Golf Championships.

    Biography

    Sam Burns is currently ranked as the #1 junior golfer in the country by Golfweek.

    He won three Louisiana High School Athletic Association individual state championships.  In 2014, Burns won the Rolex Tournament of Champions and the Junior PGA Championship.

    This March, Burns, who will attend LSU, played in his first PGA event — The Valero Texas Open, where he shot an opening round 89 and a 77 on the second round. Burns was also a member of the 2014 United States Junior Ryder Cup team.

    As a Tiger, Burns continued his success for two seasons before turning professional after the 2017 season. As a sophomore, he was named First-Team All-SEC and the SEC Player of the Year. He was also bestowed the NCAA’s highest honor as the Division I Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year.

    In 2018, Burns won his first PGA title in dramatic fashion by birdieing the last three holes to win by one stroke at the Savannah Golf Championships.

    Biography

    There was no drop-off during Kyler Murray’s senior season in 2014 as he and his teammates captured the school’s third straight Texas state championship and third straight High School Football America “mythical” national title.

    The dual-threat QB, who is enrolled at Texas A&M, was 42-0 as a starter. Last year, Murray threw for 4,713 yards and 54 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,495 yards and 25 TDs.

    Murray was also a standout baseball player. He was the first to be selected to play at both the Under Armor All-America Football and Baseball game.

    Off-the-field, in addition to donating his time as a youth football instructor, he has volunteered locally as part of the Reading with the Eagles youth literacy-outreach and anti-bullying programs. He also serves as a mentor to several student team managers with special needs.

    Murray played one season at Texas A&M before announcing he would be transferring to the University of Oklahoma. After sitting out a year, he was the backup behind current Cleveland Brown’s quarterback, Baker Mayfield, as a junior. His senior year, he shined on the big stage. After throwing for more then 4,000 yards and 40 touchdowns in the regular season, he took the Sooners to the Orange Bowl. Murray was awarded the Heisman Trophy for his performance.

    Murray entered the 2019 NFL Draft and was the first overall selection by the Arizona Cardinals. He started his first game September 8, 2019. He is the current starter for the Cardinals in the 2020-2021 season.

    Biography

    Austyn Cuneo leaves high school as the country’s all-time leading goal scorer.

    Cuneo’s numbers — 328 goals, 94 assists AND her team has never lost a game during her four-year career.  Her 95 goals as a senior was one shy of her single season record of 96 goals that she netted in 2013. She broke the record for most consecutive games with at least one goal — she finished with 70 straight games with at least a goal. Cuneo will attend the University of North Carolina.

    Cuneo spent two season at UNC before transferring to Rutgers University. Her senior year she was named team captian, First-Team All Region and Second Team All-AmericanShe also excelled in the classroom and was honored as Academic All-Big Ten as a junior.

    Rohrer, one of the best in high school, became Notre Dame’s first four time All American in Cross Country.

    Biography

    Anna Rohrer became only the fifth runner in the 36-year history of the Foot Locker Cross Country National Championships to win two titles during her career.

    Her first Foot Locker title came when she was a sophomore. Rohrer, who will attend Notre Dame, also has two New Balance national titles. She also won four Indiana high school titles, and holds state meet records in both cross country and track.

    Rohrer continued her success for the Fighting Irish. After four years, she graduated and completed her career as Notre Dame’s first four-time All-American in women’s cross country history. She eared First Team USTFCCCA Cross Country All-American honors each year. She won five ACC Championships and was named the Freshman of the year in 2015 and Performer of the Year in 2016.

    Upon graduation, Rohrer is continuing her training and is a member of the BAA (Boston Athletic Association) High Performance Team.

    Fisher is one of the most decorated and fastest runners from Michigan and continued to do the same at Stanford University.

    Biography

    Grant Fisher closed-out his scholastic career by winning a national championship. Additionally, he is the seventh U.S. high school runner to break 4:00 in the mile.

    Fisher, who twice was named Gatorade’s National Cross County Runner of the Year, captured another gold at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships. Last year’s Michigan Division 1 champ carried a 4.11 GPA in the classroom. Fisher will attend Stanford.

    Fisher continued his success at Stanford. As a Cardinal, he was the 2017 NCAA outdoor 5,000-meter champion. Additionally, he is a 12 time All American. He also excelled in the classroom. He was the USTFCCCA Men’s Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year as a junior. His senior year he placed second at both the Indoor and Outdoor NCAA Championships.

    Biography

    Katie Lou Samuelson capped-off an incredible high school career with a season that her coach Kevin Kiernan called “the greatest offensive performance he has ever seen.”

    Samuelson, who will attend the University of Connecticut, averaged just under 30 points a game, which broke her own school season scoring average record.  She also set new marks for most points in a game (42, against Palisades) and most 3-pointers made in a season (117).

    Samuelson made an immediate impact at UConn. She was named the ESPNW National Freshman of the Year. Her last three years she was a WBCA Coaches’ All-American and a First Team for the American Athletic Conference.

    After college she was drafted the fourth overall pick at the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky.

    Biography

    Jaylen Brown closed out his high school career by leading Wheeler to a Georgia AAAAAA state championship.

    The 6-7, 220-pound forward averaged 28 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, plus he was named to the McDonald’s All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic.

    Brown was also a member of the 2014 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team.  Brown will play his college ball at the University of California at Berkley.

    After one year and being named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, Brown entered the 2016 NBC draft. He was the third overall selection by the Boston Celtics. His rookie year he was named to the Second Team All-Rookie team. Brown’s contract was extended through the 2023-24 season with the Celtics.

    Nikorak was drafted by the Colorado Rockies after his senior year of high school.

    Biography

    Mike Nikorak has a big decision ahead as he’ll have to choose between heading to the University of Alabama to begin his college career or sign with the Colorado Rockies, who drafted him with the 27th overall pick in the recent Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.

    A 2014 first team Pennsylvania all-state honoree, Nikorak posted a 2-1 record with a 0.94 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 29.2 innings this season.. The nation’s No. 3 prep prospect, as rated by Perfect Game USA, also batted .417 with six home runs, 23 RBIs and a .792 slugging percentage.

    Nikorak was the starting pitcher at the Under Armour All-American game at Wrigley Field in Chicago last summer, pitching one scoreless inning without allowing a baserunner and striking out two.

    Nikorak has been a part of the Rockie’s organization since being drafted. He underwent Tommy John surgery in 2017.
