Biography

Jaylen Brown closed out his high school career by leading Wheeler to a Georgia AAAAAA state championship.

The 6-7, 220-pound forward averaged 28 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, plus he was named to the McDonald’s All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic.

Brown was also a member of the 2014 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team.  Brown will play his college ball at the University of California at Berkley.

After one year and being named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, Brown entered the 2016 NBC draft. He was the third overall selection by the Boston Celtics. His rookie year he was named to the Second Team All-Rookie team. Brown’s contract was extended through the 2023-24 season with the Celtics.
