Austyn Cuneo leaves high school as the country’s all-time leading goal scorer.
Cuneo’s numbers — 328 goals, 94 assists AND her team has never lost a game during her four-year career. Her 95 goals as a senior was one shy of her single season record of 96 goals that she netted in 2013. She broke the record for most consecutive games with at least one goal — she finished with 70 straight games with at least a goal. Cuneo will attend the University of North Carolina.
Cuneo spent two season at UNC before transferring to Rutgers University. Her senior year she was named team captian, First-Team All Region and Second Team All-American. She also excelled in the classroom and was honored as Academic All-Big Ten as a junior.
