Biography
Montgomery currently has Yorktown ranked No. 1 in the Washington Post’s girls’ soccer poll. Montgomery, the 2020-21 Gatorade Virginia Soccer Player of the Year, has had an outstanding senior season, which currently finds Yorktown in the Class 6, Region D semifinals.
Through the first 12 matches of the Spring 2022 season, Montgomery tallied 20 goals with 13 assists. As a junior, she scored 20 goals with 12 assists.
She was named All-State, All-Region, and All-Conference during her high school career. Montgomery is the first Virginia student-athlete to win the NHSCA National Senior Girls’ Soccer Athlete of the Year Award.
One of the top recruits in the country with over a 4.0 GPA, Montgomery will play college soccer at the University of South Carolina. She also volunteers as a peer mentor and a youth soccer coach.
