Harris has excelled on the field and in the classroom at Columbia River HS.
Biography
Alex Harris closed-out his scholastic career with a 2A state championship. He scored two goals in Columbia River’s 4-2 win over North Kitsap. The win capped a perfect 24-0 season with Harris scoring 76 goals.
As a junior, Harris, who will attend Cornell University, scored for 51 goals. That won him Gatorade’s Washington Soccer Player of the Year award.
In addition to his great senior season on the pitch, in his first year of playing tennis, Harris qualified for the state double tournament.
Harris is the first Washington student-athlete to win the NHSCA Senior Boys’ Soccer Athlete of the Year Award.
