Impact Statement

Williams was a leader at Parkway and will continue to be a leader to Team USA and LSU.

Biography

Williams, a five star prospect, led Parkway to the Louisiana Non-Select Division I state title in March. The nation’s No. 1 college basketball career recruit with a 4.0 GPA, averaged over 17 points per game and seven rebounds per contest.

For the last two years, Williams was named a finalist for the Naismith Girls High School Player of the Year Award. She also was named the 2022-23 Gatorade Louisiana Player of the Year. Williams closed-out her scholastic career by playing in the McDonald’s All-American Game.

She was also named 2023 Morgan Wooten National Player of the Year.

Williams has had success playing overseas during the summer. She led Team USA to gold medals in the FIBA U17 World Cup and FIBA 3X3 U18 World Cup.

She will play college basketball at LSU. Prior to her first season as a Tiger, it was announced in August of 2023, Williams was selected to compete with Team USA at the FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup.
