Biography
Clark is considered one of the best high school baseball players in America. It is expected he will be taken high in the upcoming Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.
The 6-1, 200-pound outfielder wrapped-up his three-year scholastic career with a .551 career batting average with 21 homers and 95 RBI’s. During his senior year, Clark hit .646 with 20 of his 42 hits being for extra-bases — 9 doubles, 5 triples and 6 home runs.
Clark was named Gatorade’s Indiana’s Baseball Player the year after his sophomore and junior seasons. He’s accepted an athletic scholarship to play college baseball at Vanderbilt.
On July 9, 2023, Clark was drafted third overall by the Detroit Tigers. Three games into his professional career, Clark added a walk-off home run to his resume. On August 23, 2023, Clark was promoted to Single A Lakeland in the Minor Leagues for the duration of the season.
