Marchese has made an impact on all his student athletes on and off the court.
Biography
Coach Marchese just completed his 32nd year as head coach at Ramapo High School.
This past season he hit a huge milestone when he won his 600th match this spring. This year’s team finished 18-5 and was ranked #20 in the Star-Ledger’s Top 20.
In his tenure, the Raiders have won 26 league titles, 16 county titles, 15 state sectionals and four group state championships.
In addition to tennis, Marchese also coached the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams, boys’ ice hockey, basketball and the boys’s tennis team.
Marchese continues to coach the girls’ tennis team at Ramapo.
