Howard led her team to its third straight Oklahoma state title in the four years she’s been the head coach.
Biography
This past season Howard led her team to its third straight Oklahoma state title. This year’s state championship came at the 3A level after back-to-back wins in Class 4A. Over the last four years, Howard has also led the Lady Indians to a 29-5 record in matches.
Leading the charge to this year’s title was Reagan Chaney, who was also the state’s individual champ. Four Plainview golfers finished in the Top 10. Over the past four seasons, under the guidance of Coach Howard, the Lady Indians have had one player compete at the college level. There are two from the 2019 team that are headed to Oklahoma City University and Redlands.
