Biography

Opal Curless is a midfielder and forward who scored 28 goals and passed for 12 assists this past season. Curless was the Maine Soccer Coaches Association Class B Player of the Year. She’s rated as the No. 68 recruit in the Class of 2016 by TopDrawerSoccer.com.

Curless scored 80 career goals. She will be continuing her soccer and academic career at Syracuse University.

Curless played the first two seasons at Syracuse prior to transferring to Florida Gulf Coast University. She started in all the games as an Eagle. Curless also excelled off the soccer field. She became the second in FGCU’s soccer history and fourth overall to be named Academic All-American.
