Biography

Lonzo Ball led Chino Hills to the #1 ranking in the nation during his season year.

Chino Hills, led by Ball captured the State Championships by a margin of 20 points over De La Salle. This season the team finished 35-0 with many thanks to the talented Ball brothers whom Lonzo shared the court with. Ball averaged 25.4 points per game, 12.9 assists and 11.5 rebounds per game.

Ball has won many national awards including the Nasmith National Player of the Year Award and was a participant in the elusive McDonald’s game held in Chicago. He will continue both his basketball career and academics at UCLA in the fall.

His freshman year, Ball earned First Team All-America honors. He broke the UCLA record for most assists and lead the nation with 274.

After one season at UCLA, Ball entered the NBA Draft. He was the second overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017. He was selected to the 2018 All Rookie Second Team. In 2019, Ball was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans, where he currently plays.
