Fowler, who has a 3.39 grade-point average, will attend the University of Arizona.
As a freshman, Fowler and the Wildcats reached the Women’s College World Series and advanced to the Championships Series before being derailed by UCLA. Fowler entered in with the fourth-most wins for a season in program history (38).
Near the end of her sophomore season Fowler was hit by a foul ball during a night game and missed three weeks of the season with a concussion.
During her freshman and junior year Fowler was named (one of 25 players) as a USA Softball Player of the Year Finalist. She was a two time NFCA All-American, one time First Team and one time Second Team.
Fowler graduated with her degree in Journalism and was hired as an analyst by the Pac-12 Networks.
