Biography

Gregg finished his prep career with four state titles to earn NHSCA Senior Athlete of the Year honors. Gregg earned his four titles while leading the Cut Bank High School tennis team to three team championships in Montana. Gregg, also a great basketball player, hit the shot to lead the Wolves to victory in overtime to clinch Cut Bank’s first Class B state basketball championship in 10 years.

Gregg continued his tennis career at Eastern Washington University, but only for a year.  Realizing his love of basketball, he then transferred to the University of Great Falls. He played basketball there for a season before heading back to EWU to play tennis again.   Being homesick,  he transferred back to UGF where he finished his college career playing basketball.

After college, Gregg began his coaching career and has coached both basketball and tennis in high school and college. Gregg was hired in 2015 as the Portland State’s Women’s Basketball Director of Basketball Operations. Going into the 2017-2018 season, Gregg was promoted as the assistant coach. The Vikings made it to the big show, the NCAA tournament in 2019, before their defeat by #2 Oregon.
