Biography

A two-time NSCAA/Adidas First Team All-American, Ohai was named the NSCAA Player of the Year as a senior, and is a three-time Gatorade Utah Player of the Year. Ohai burst onto the scene as a freshman scoring 28 goals, the most of any 5A player that fall, to lead Alta to the first of a state-record four straight state championships. With Ohai in the lineup Alta finished 74-5-1 over that span and finished this season ranked No. 30 in the ESPN RISE Fab 50.

In her career Ohai led 5A and  the entire state in scoring all four years, finishing her career with 126 goals. She scored 34 goals and added 13 assists last fall and was named Miss Soccer by the Deseret News and the 5A Most Valuable Player by the Salt Lake Tribune. A member of the U.S. Soccer Federation’s Under-16 and Uuner-17 National Teams, Ohai also was a two-time state placewinner in track and field in 2008, finishing fourth in the 100 meters and seventh in the long jump.

Ohai will attend the University of North Carolina.  Ohai was a four year starter while at UNC. During her freshman year she was named to the First-Team All-ACC and to the ACC All-Freshman Team. She was on the team that won the 2012 Championships.

After graduation she was selected second overall in the NWSL draft by the Houston Dash, where she played until 2019 when she was traded to the Chicago Red Stars.
