Biography
Harvey led the Caesar Rodney tennis teams to five state championships in the last six years.
Harvey, who just finished his 34th year as the school’s head coach, won his 300th match in 2015. He began his coaching career in 1976 and stepped away in 1993. After a ten year hiatus, he returned in 2003.
He’s been named the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association’s Coach of the Year five times.
In 2017, Harvey was inducted into the Delaware Association of Athletic Directors Hall of Fame. A year later, he was inducted into the Delaware Tennis Foundation Hall of Fame.
