Biography

Cerrone stands just 5-foot-5, but the midfielder played big for Ketcham, scoring 29 goals – six of those coming in the state playoffs – and 11 assists to lead her team to an 18-3-3 record and the Class AA regional final as a senior. A six-year varsity starter, Cerrone was selected the NSCAA/adidas High School Player of the Year.

Also the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year, Cerrone is a Parade All-American, a two-time NSCAA All-American and a member of the United States Soccer Federation’s Under-17 National Team. She also excelled on the basketball court, averaging more than 20 points per game in the backcourt. She will attend Boston College.

During her freshman year as an Eagle, Cerrone was named to the All-ACC Freshman Team. Her Junior and Senior year, she started for 24 games. She is the all time leader of games played with 91. Her senior year she was named to the College Cup All-Tournament team.
