Biography

Van Lith has been called Washington’s greatest girls’ basketball player of all-time, graduating from Cashmere as the state’s all-time leading scorer with 2,994 points. Van Lith, who carried a 4.0 grade point average, led her school to a runner-up in Washington 1A classification while averaging 32.6 points per game, 9.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 4.2 steals.

Van Lith, who was considered the top guard recruit in the nation, has accepted a scholarship to play at the University of Louisville. She was a starter for the USA Basketball U19 Women’s World Cup Team and was named MVP of the 2019 FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup. Van Lith was chosen to play in both the McDonald’s All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic.

Van Lith is the first Washington athlete to win the NHSCA National Senior Girls’ Basketball Athlete of the Year Award.
