Biography

Father Frank Kissel has led Marist to be one of the best girls’ tennis programs in his 25-plus years as the program’s head coach.

This past year, Father Kissel led the Lady War Eagle team to its fourth state title in five years. From 1995-2006, Kissel led his teams to 12 straight state titles, which ranks as the third longest consecutive title streak in America. This year;s state championship isFather Kissel’s 18th.  His overall record stands at 508-69.

Father Kissel led Marist for another season after being honored. He ended his career with 516 victories, although he still remains active and the biggest fan of the Lady War Eagles.
