The Penn State University commitment, who also was a three-year starter on the girls basketball team, led the Cavaliers to an Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland Conference Class A runnerup finish as a sophomore, the championship as a junior and a semifinal berth this season with a record of 37-2-3 over her final two seasons.

The 5-foot-5 Nairn was a two-time NSCAA/adidas All-American and the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior. A member of the USSF Women’s Under-17 National Team, she also was MVP of the 2006 Nike Premier 50 camp.

Narin was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year at Penn State. She earned All-Big Ten First Team honors her sophomore and junior years. Her senior year she was named the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and was named first team NSCAA All-America honors. Narin finished her career by being named the 2012-13 Penn State Women’s Athlete of the Year. She also excelled in the classroom and was a three time Academic Big-Ten honors recipient.
