Biography
Alex Michelsen is one of the best tennis player to come out of California.
He holds an International Tennis Federation Junior world ranking of No. 25 . In 2022, he won the Grand Slam doubles title in the boys’ division of Wimbledon. He was also a finalist in the doubles at the Australian Open.
Michelsen will continue his athletic and academic career at the University of Georgia.
Since being honored, Michelsen skipped UGA and turned professional in fall of 2023. He is one of the highest rising young athletes in the ATP Tour. He cracked the Top 50 in September of 2024. He is the second youngest player in the Top 50 and currently ranked 43.
